All charges include central heating and electricity, full use of the car park, the foyer, the toilets, the furniture and tea and coffee making facilities.
Our "Public Entertainment and Theatre" licence allows for the following numbers in the Main Hall:
265 persons for a closely seated audience
265 persons for dancing without tables
180 persons for dancing with seating at tables
150 persons seated at tables
We have a full alcohol licence and are able to provide bar facilities if required. This service can be tailored to your requirements. If you want to provide free alcohol for your guests or to 'bring-a-bottle' this is perfectly acceptable; anyone providing alcohol for sale must comply with our licensing requirements.
Fire regulations prohibit smoking, candles or other naked flames (except in special circumstances where permission has been sought and accepted beforehand) anywhere in the building; this includes private functions.
The hall must be left as you found it. The hirer shall insure that:
the hall is left clean and swept
all furniture is made clean and stored in its proper place
all rubbish is cleared-up and removed from the premises
Note: The hirer must allow sufficient time for both preparation (before) and clearing-up (after) your event.
All damages should be reported and will be charged for.
