Hire Charges & Conditions

Hire Charges

All charges include central heating and electricity costs, and provide full use of the car park, the foyer, the toilets, the furniture (excluding the staging) and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

Main Hall

£8.50 per hour

£102.00 per day until midnight, with time after midnight charged at double rate (£17.00 per hour) [Fridays and Saturdays only]

Note that you will need to allow for preparation and clearing-up time before and after your event.

The Betty Churchhouse Room

£5.50 per hour

Other Facilities

Use of the full kitchen facilities £10.00 per event; extra crockery, cutlery and glasses £10.00 per event; use of the sound system £10.00 per event; use of the staging £10.00 per event.

Licensing Arrangements

Our Public Entertainment and Theatre Licence allows for the following numbers in the Main Hall: 265 persons for a closely seated audience; 265 persons for dancing without tables; 180 persons for dancing with seating at tables; 150 persons seated at tables.

We have a full alcohol licence and are able to provide bar facilities if required. This service can be tailored to your specific requirements.

Conditions of Hire  

Fire regulations prohibit smoking or candles anywhere in the building; this includes private functions.

The hirer is responsible for replacing furniture and clearing and removing rubbish.

All damages should be reported and will be charged for.
